Bangladesh
Bangladesh is a country in southern Asia. It is surrounded by India, but one small part of Bangladesh borders Myanmar. Bangladesh means ''country of Bengal''. Bangladesh got its independence from Pakistan on March 26, 1971. It got this victorious day on March 26,1971 with the help of India. The capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka. The currency of Bangladesh is the Taka. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the founder of Bangladesh. Bangladesh plays cricket and right now they are in the 20 over's world cup which is hosted in South Africa. The animal of Bangladesh is the Royal Bengal Tiger and in a way it represents the country. The two most populated cities are Dhaka and Chittagong. Dhaka has a population of about 6,969,458 and Chittagong has about 3,920,222. Half the population of Bangladesh lives with less than one dollar a day. It is developing as a country today because Bangladesh has a large population and it is a very poor country, but not that poor. It has a Bay name after it called the bay of Bay of Bengal

This is agriculture in Bangladesh. As you can see from the picture that life in Bangladesh is very different from life in America. People there depend on their crops to make a living. The people don't make that much money to support there families. You have to understand that children that are born in poor families never get an education. They have to work.
